PLEASE, please, please. People STOP once and for all with the "fiber rich", veggies and fruit BS. It's a lie and myth on the same package. Add fiber to your diet and be welcome to farting and whatever level of constipation you'll handle! Get into a 100% carnivore diet. i.e. O (zero, null, none) fibers and suddenly your gut start working like a well tuned Swiss clock! The fact remain, that we've been lied to. At levels that are at minimum, almost, unbelievable. One month on carnivore and you'll be surprised. Say goodbye to things like gas, bloating, etc. ;-)

Yes please Tom, share your thoughts about your diet/workouts with a 56 year old, retired firefighter in relatively good shape (yes, I know "relatively good shape" is subjective) .... but I work out and get in about 5 to 7 miles a day during my job (3 twelve hour shifts) plus riding my bike approximately 12 -30 mile a week... in addition

Working 12 hour shifts 4 days a week, I have to dig into my sleep a little. I can usually get 6 on my work nights and try to make up for it on my days off.

It's not personal; it's about the confusion in nutrition your videos might be contributing to. I have a PhD in Human Biology and Chemistry, and after years of research, I prefer to stay anonymous. Here's my take: There's no one-size-fits-all diet. But generally, a mix of meat, eggs, fish, and dairy (if tolerated), along with berries or low-sugar fruits, works well. Having one balanced meal a day, ideally in the evening before 6 pm, could benefit most people. It should include protein from meat or fish, healthy fats, and carbs from non-starchy foods. Aim for at least 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep each night. Try to move or walk for at least 30 minutes every day. Spend less time online and more time socializing face-to-face for real connections. These ideas are based on the simple fact that excess food can lead to health problems, while moderation promotes longevity without starvation. I've kept it simple for your audience, hoping they'll see the wisdom in these basics, even if they get lost in the noise of ever-changing science.
